Alexander Zavialov was killed by his son

However, it has emerged that Zavialova did not die of natural causes. The actress was killed by her own son, Pyotr, with whom she shared her home in the final years of her life. The man is an alcoholic, which led to frequent arguments with his mother that often ended in physical violence. One such incident involving a beating resulted in the actress's death.

The man has already been detained by law enforcement officers and is providing a confession.
