Court bans Anastasia Zavorotnyuk from leaving Russia

The court has banned well-known actress Anastasia Zavorotnyuk from leaving the country. The artist owes banks approximately 30 million rubles. Desperate to recover the loaned funds, financial institutions filed a lawsuit against her.

The actress took out the loans three years ago. Initially, Anastasia paid off the debt regularly; however, her financial situation deteriorated significantly over time after one of her projects failed spectacularly, and she stopped repaying the credit.

The tax authority will now handle her debts. Bailiffs may begin sealing and seizing Zavorotnyuk's assets to settle the outstanding debt to financial institutions.
