Dmitry Hvorostovsky returns to the stage again

Renowned opera singer Dmitry Hvorostovsky has returned to the stage again after being diagnosed with brain cancer in early summer and undergoing a heavy course of treatment.

Recently, the singer performed in New York on the stage of the Metropolitan Opera alongside opera diva Anna Netrebko. The artists performed the lead roles in Giuseppe Verdi's opera "Il trovatore". Two similar performances by Hvorostovsky are scheduled for the near future, after which the artist will likely take another pause in his touring activities.

Following treatment in England, Dmitry Hvorostovsky feels significantly better, although it is still too early to speak of a full recovery.
