Eldar Ryazanov Hospitalised

Yesterday evening, the renowned director Eldar Ryazanov was hospitalised in a critical condition at one of the clinics in the Russian capital. Ambulance services took the actor from his home on suspicion of a stroke.

Fortunately, medical examinations did not confirm a stroke; instead, doctors diagnosed advanced left-sided pneumonia. The director’s condition is stable, and there is no threat to his life.

Following an examination and the prescribed treatment, medical staff discharged Eldar Ryazanov to go home.

It is worth noting that the director will celebrate his 88th birthday in November. Over the past year, he has been urgently hospitalised several times due to cerebral circulation disorders and suspected heart attacks.
