Renowned artist Garik Sukachev has been hospitalised at one of the medical facilities in the Russian capital.

The performer was immediately placed in the intensive care unit with acute alcohol poisoning and connected to an IV drip.

Sukachev sought medical attention at the clinic himself, presumably realising that he could not cope with the intoxication without professional help.

There is currently no reliable information regarding the performer's condition.
