Melania Trump seeks $150m from publication

The wife of new US President Donald Trump, Melania, has once again sued the prominent publication The Daily Mail, which last year published a story claiming that the current First Lady had been involved in prostitution and escort work since her youth.

The amount claimed in the lawsuit is $150 million. This sum is sufficient to cover the moral damages caused by the publication.

This is Melania's second attempt to clear her reputation and, at the same time, make a significant profit. The first lawsuit was dismissed. The Maryland court refused to hear the case because it involved foreign companies. This time, the woman decided to take a different approach and filed the lawsuit in a New York court.
