Tyra Banks becomes a mother for the first time

The famous 42-year-old actress and model Tyra Banks has become a mother for the first time. The artist and her common-law husband Eric Asla have welcomed a son.

Like many other celebrities who became mothers after the age of 40, Tyra resorted to in vitro fertilisation. A surrogate mother carried the baby for the couple.

The newborn boy was named York.
