Vyacheslav Zaitsev has Parkinson's disease

Doctors have diagnosed the renowned fashion designer Vyacheslav Zaitsev with an incurable condition – Parkinson's disease. He disclosed this himself on NTV. Parkinson's disease is characterised by damage to the central nervous system and motor disorders. Legs and hands begin to tremble, and facial expressions are impaired.

Zaitsev's condition is complicated by joint damage. The designer is currently finding it difficult to move. He recently underwent surgery to replace a joint with a titanium one.

Despite his serious illness, the designer has no intention of giving up work or surrendering. Zaitsev celebrated his 78th birthday with a show of his new collection.
