Ala Pugačeva undergoes heart surgery

The prima donna of Russian showbiz, Ala Pugačeva, underwent heart surgery at one of Moscow's research institutes.

The artist underwent stenting. This involves the placement of a special stent inside a blood vessel. This procedure widens the narrowed section of the artery, thereby improving blood circulation.

This is not the first such operation Pugačeva has undergone. Previously, in 2008 and 2010, she had two stents implanted.

The prima donna is currently feeling well and has already returned home to her children and husband. She stayed in the clinic for only a few days.
