Andriy Pasychnyk placed on wanted list over unpaid royalties

Andriy Pasychnyk, founder of the Moon Records music label, has been placed on the wanted list in a case concerning unpaid royalties for the songs of the band Skryabin. The suspicion was raised in late 2024, but despite comments made to Forbes, Pasychnyk chose not to cooperate with the prosecution.

“A decision has been made to place another participant in the criminal case, the founder of the music label, on the wanted list,” the prosecution’s press release states.

The case against the label’s director, Tetyana Korchemaha, has already been referred to court. She is charged with large-scale fraud and may be sentenced to up to 12 years in prison.

The current events are becoming a significant precedent for the Ukrainian music industry, particularly regarding the regulation of royalties.
