Kazhanna accuses "MUZVAR" of manipulating her words: editorial response
A scandal has erupted over the words of singer Kazhanna. The artist stated that the "MUZVAR" editorial team distorted her remarks, taken from an interview for "Radio Promin," and presented them inaccurately in their Instagram Stories.
The incident concerns a conversation between Kazhanna and Ksenia Ivash, published on 13 June 2024. According to the singer, the quote used by "MUZVAR" was taken out of context and presented in a distorted form.
The "MUZVAR" editorial team conducted its own investigation, reviewing the video recording of the interview (Source: YouTube) and comparing it with the text version of the conversation on the radio's website. It emerged that the text version indeed contains discrepancies with the video; however, the "MUZVAR" editorial team has no involvement in the operations of the ukr.radio website.
It is important to note that for over six months, the text version of the interview on the radio's website has not been altered and remains available in its original form. It was this version of the quote that "MUZVAR" used in its Instagram Stories.
In this regard, the "MUZVAR" editorial team calls on Kazhanna and her team to refute the inaccurate accusations. We believe that portraying us in a negative light without sufficient grounds damages the reputation of our publication.
"We are open to dialogue and ready to collaborate with artists to avoid misunderstandings in the future. However, we are categorically against the spread of unreliable information about our work," noted the "MUZVAR" team.
