Bumbox tour at risk: border exit issues

The band Bumbox has faced serious difficulties ahead of its anticipated European tour. The cancellation may be caused by problems obtaining permits for leaving the country. The Ukrainian Ministry of Culture has suspended the issuance of these documents, significantly jeopardising the start of the tour.

Tour goals and charity involvement
The European tour was scheduled to begin in mid-March and would have been a significant event for the band, known for its active charitable work. Funds raised at concerts are traditionally directed to the Andriy Khlyvniuk Foundation, which procures unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). This aspect highlights the band's social mission and its contribution to supporting Ukraine.

Exit restrictions for men
Starting yesterday, Ukraine introduced additional restrictions on leaving the country, affecting virtually all men, including volunteers participating in the "Shliakh" project. This decision has resulted in even activists working for the benefit of Ukraine being unable to leave the country.
