One of the James Bonds has died

Roger Moore, one of the actors to play Agent 007 James Bond, has died. The actor passed away at the age of 89. His family announced the star's death.

Sir Roger Moore died in Switzerland today, 23 May, from cancer. The battle with the disease was short and unsuccessful.

The actor will be buried in Monaco.

Roger Moore held the record for the most appearances as James Bond. He starred in the franchise for 12 years, appearing in numerous Bond films.
