Poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko dies

Today, in one of the clinics in America, the renowned poet Yevgeny Yevtushenko died at the age of 85.

The poet had been admitted to the medical facility the previous day. Doctors assessed his condition as extremely critical. Yevtushenko was unable to breathe or speak. He was immediately connected to a ventilator. Nevertheless, his relatives hoped that everything would turn out fine.

However, a few hours after his hospitalisation, Yevgeny Yevtushenko died. The news was reported by the poet's colleague, Mikhail Morgulis.
