Basman Court in Moscow remands Yury Dud in custody in terrorism case
A judge at the Basman District Court in Moscow ordered blogger Yury Dud to be held in custody for two months on charges of promoting terrorism.
Montserrat Caballé has died
Famous opera singer Montserrat Caballé has died in Barcelona. The artist had bladder problems. She was undergoing treatment at a clinic. However, the body of the 85-year-old performer could not cope with the strain, and Montserrat passed away today.
The opera diva is known for her bel canto singing technique. Montserrat Caballé performed a number of roles in classic Italian operas. The number of roles performed exceeds 120.
In addition to the classics, the artist recorded a joint album with the legendary Queen frontman Freddie Mercury titled Barcelona.
