Arshavin's wife files for divorce

The marriage of footballer Andrey Arshavin did not last long. It has emerged that his young wife Alisa is filing for divorce from the athlete just a year after their wedding.

The reason turned out to be mundane – infidelity. Arshavin repeatedly cheated on his wife, and she was unable to forgive him for it.

According to Alisa, she does not intend to claim child support despite having a daughter in common with Arshavin. The woman earns well herself and is able to provide for her child.

It is worth recalling that the footballer left his common-law wife Yulia Baranskaya and their children for Alisa. Effectively, they were left without means of subsistence.
