Basman Court in Moscow remands Yury Dud in custody in terrorism case
A judge at the Basman District Court in Moscow ordered blogger Yury Dud to be held in custody for two months on charges of promoting terrorism.
Blogger Sofia Stuzhuk publicly acknowledges whose Crimea it is
Scandal-plagued blogger Sofia Stuzhuk has once again found herself in the middle of a controversy. The mother of several children who fled Ukraine has publicly recognised Crimea as Russian.
On her Facebook page, Sonya listed her place of birth as Sevastopol, Russia.
The social network allows users to select Sevastopol as either Ukrainian or Russian. Stuzhuk opted for the latter.
One might assume this is a fake page and that someone is trying to frame the blogger in this way. But no. The page is perfectly real. It features friends and relatives.
Thus, Stuzhuk has once again made a bow in the direction of Russia, in order to continue receiving advertising orders and, consequently, money. This is because Ukrainian advertisers categorically refuse to work with her.
