Vera Brezhnaya talks about HIV

Former lead singer of VIA Gra, Vera Brezhnaya, has been the official goodwill ambassador for UNAIDS – the UN programme on the HIV/AIDS epidemic – for several years in a row.

Yesterday, the artist met with people living with HIV in Tashkent. According to the artist, they are going through a very difficult time, yet they maintain their faith and continue to live.

Vera noted that the meeting was very warm and, even though she did not get a chance to see the city, the most important thing for her was to meet its people.

On her Instagram page, Brezhnaya wrote that being kind is priceless and clarified that it is love that can save the world, just as in her song.
