Basman Court in Moscow remands Yury Dud in custody in terrorism case
A judge at the Basman District Court in Moscow ordered blogger Yury Dud to be held in custody for two months on charges of promoting terrorism.
Squid Game star offers support to Ukrainians
The star of the series "Squid Game" expressed support for Ukrainians during the war and made a significant contribution to helping those affected.
In March 2022, South Korean actor Lee Sung-kyun decided to support Ukrainian businesses in an unusual way. He booked a room in one of Kyiv's hotels, with no intention of visiting.
In a message to the hotel owners, the actor wrote: "Добрый день, я только что забронировал ваш отель на месяц, и, конечно, не приеду. Надеюсь, вы и жители Киева будете в безопасности" ("Good afternoon, I have just booked your hotel for a month, and of course, I will not come. I hope you and the residents of Kyiv will be safe").
In addition, Sung-kyun donated approximately $16,400 to the Embassy of Ukraine in South Korea to provide assistance to Ukrainian refugees.
